Soft Tissue

At some point in their lives it’s likely that all dogs will sustain a muscular injury or issue. Muscle creates the movement that dogs need to be able to live their lives and when this muscle becomes overused, injured or holds patterns of restrictive tension owners often see a change in their dog’s mobility, behaviour and ability.

Quite often muscular issues are caused by simple yet repetitive activities of daily living such as jumping in and out of a car, on and off a sofa or their type and duration of exercise.

Our soft tissue section helps the owner and professional to further understand common muscular and myofascial conditions that may be affecting a dog, the subtle signs to look for and how canine massage therapy works to resolve or improve a soft tissue condition.
