The Pet Dog
Dogs will be dogs. Playing, running, jumping, up and down stairs, on walks they are always up to something and just like us they accumulate issues in their vast and complex muscular system. Have you ever suffered from back pain, sustained an injury to a leg or arm, had neck problems or been unable to perform everyday tasks because you are "hurting"? Well dogs are just like us. They are made up of bone, muscle, blood, a brain they can feel happiness, sadness and or course pain. The only difference is that a dog will quite often hold their pain without showing any outward signs as in the wild it would make them a "weak" member of the pack so quite often I see dogs that outwardly may be showing symptoms of pain that reveal much deeper issues.
When our dog isn`t right, we aren`t right. Of course we don`t like to see them pain or struggling and it affects our mood too, but quite often we can`t quite put our finger on what is causing it. As a qualified Canine Masseuse it is my job to quite literally put my finger on what is causing them pain within their muscular system. I will work with your veterinarian, gaining prior consent before treatments and keeping them updated so your dog gets the best individual treatment they deserve.
I see dogs from all over the country to help them to get back to doing what they do best so if you see any of the following issues with your dog, massage may be able to help them get back to enjoying a normal life, pain free life.
