K9 Massage For The Agility & Sporting Dog - 1 Day Workshop

2012

Sunday 19th February
Sunday 23rd September
Sunday 21st October
Saturday 24th November

Did You Know Your Dog Has Around 700 Muscles that accounts for 45% of their bodyweight?

As muscle is the primary mover it is most likely to bear the brunt of injury and stress accumulation first.

Bring along your dog to K9 Massage For Agility & Sport and learn how you can look after the long term muscular health of you dog by applying professional massage techniques that work.

You`ll be taught by Natalie Lenton, Professional Canine Masseuse and Director of Canine Massage Therapy Centre Ltd. She will be showing you the correct way to massage as well as how to avoid the common mistakes that people make when warming up and cooling down their dog. Your dog will also have the opportunity to have a Palpation with Natalie so you can understand where your dog is holding injury and therefore where you may need to give them a little more help...

Whether your discipline is agility, obedience, working trials or gundog work, this is the workshop your dog will thank you for attending and is an absolute must for any owner or handler who considers their dogs health paramount to their performance.

You will be learning professional massage techniques that will not only help aid your dogs performance , but will importantly help to minimize any damage that may be caused that these sports often carry with them.
A great day for any handler who takes serious responsibility for their dogs health.

You will be working with your own dog all day to learn:

  • What is massage and what are the benefits to my dog?
  • How massage works and why it can benefit your dogs performance
  • How To Locate Bony Landmarks
  • Where The Main Muscle Groups are located and what they do
  • Benefits of warming up and cooling down through massage
